Our approach

Treat the cause, then build the capacity

We developed Active Performance Therapy so that assessment, hands-on treatment and exercise happen in the one appointment. Each visit begins with a Master Practitioner assessment and ends with a plan you can follow between sessions.

Ben Duong, founder and director of Active Performance Clinic

Ben Duong

Founder and Director, APC Master Practitioner

16+ years industry experience

Ben started as a personal trainer in 2008 and has spent more than 16 years helping people move and feel better, deepening his understanding of the body along the way. Balancing a corporate career and family while managing his own chronic health challenges pushed him to look for better solutions than symptom management.

That search became Active Performance Clinic, founded in 2015 on the shared experience of Ben, his team and their clients. Ben developed Active Performance Therapy, the assessment-led method the clinic uses today, and he still assesses most new clients personally.
