What people from Town Hall Station usually come in for
Most people who walk over from Town Hall work at a desk, or on their feet in the shops around the QVB and Pitt Street Mall. Common requests:
- Neck and shoulder tightness from long days at a screen, often with tension headaches. Remedial massage and dry needling are the usual starting point, and we look at the desk setup behind it. See neck pain and shoulder pain.
- Lower back stiffness from commuting and sitting, treated with hands-on work plus simple exercise therapy you can do at your desk. See back pain.
- Recovery after training at a CBD gym, where cupping and red light therapy are often added to a massage.
Every visit starts with an assessment and the mix of techniques is chosen from there, so you do not need to pick a modality in advance.
Office clothes are fine for a massage because we use towel draping; shorts or a loose top help for needling or exercise work. Bring any scans or referral letters.
